Very SIMILAR to the original but not the same, it has ground noise issues
I own an Original Lovetone Meatball and comparing this Behringer to the original Lovetone you can get very close but it's not the same of course, the original has a more sensitive envelope follower that produces those characteristic "underwater warbles" on chords and the decay has a smoother transition, on this pedal the sensitivity is not as "sensitive" (not much difference between humbuckers and single coils) and the decay has a more abrupt decay curve, the resonant peak on the original has more amplitude too, on this one the resonant peak is more subtle
The construction feels solid, all metal but there's an annoying "ground noise" when connecting a power supply, even a pro-isolated power supply like the one I have (Cioks DC7) produces this ground noise, if you unplug the power supply the noise disappears (as the pedal is True-Bypass) but the moment you put power in it the noise appears

Lots of features, that don't work so well
This could be the ultimate touch wah, but it isn't. It has a lot of features, but many of them turned out to be useless. Touch wahs are notoriously hard to dial in, I know because I've owned several. So I was prepared for that. This thing has a lot of parameters, but somehow they don't have the right values. The sensitivity has to be turned almost fully clockwise in most cases, otherwise the effect won't trigger. The attack has to be turned fully counter clockwise, for the same reason. The decay must be set to at least 12 o'clock and preferably much higher or the effect will drop off too fast. The intensity knob and the filter setting (Lo to Hi) more or less affect the tone in the same way. From the 'pass filters' I mostly used the low pass filter, not so much high pass or band pass. I connected an expression pedal to pedal1 and to pedal2 using a trs cable, tried changing the polarity, but could get neither of them to work. Didn't spend much time on it, because I was disappointed with the sound and the versatility already. And to top it all off: the description says it comes with a power supply, but mine didn't. I didn't complain because I have enough power supplies already. Anyway, long story short: I sent mine back.

Tres belle surprise
