Allsaitig kräftiger, runder Ton mit breiter Klangfülle. Einzige, wohl stahlsaiten-bekannte Eigenschaft (?): bei intensiverem Spiel Nachklang & Nachhall, den man spieltechnisch jedoch beherrschen kann.

Mein ohnehin sehr kraft- und glanzvoll klingendes Cello (Otto Jos. Klier Nr. 10) wirkt mit diesen Saiten noch einmal freier, fast übermütig. Mehr Volumen und Feuer ist kaum zu erzielen. Insbesondere die G-Saite wartet mit Klangfarben auf, die man so noch gar nicht gekannt hat.
