Nice little guitar
Playing in gigs and small pubs for almost 20 years.
This is, according also to many fellow players, a solid sound instrument that worth at list twice its price.
It sounds a bit distort and have a strong heavy but warm and woody sound.
Its action is beautiful. You can play and play without stopping for hours and have no physical pain from this.
I use it for playing old greek rembetika ('20s-40's) and its sound fits the feeling swell.
Once more the Thomann team was over the top for all that I needed to have the guitar in my hands. Very nice job guys! Keep it up. Many thanks...

Après une longue journée passée dessus
Je viens de la ranger... dans son emballage. Reçue ce matin à 10h. Il est 23h, je ne l'ai pas quittée pendant ces 13 longues heures. Elle repart à la case départ.
Elle est mignonne pourtant. Séduisante et pas si mal finie au premier regard.
Le son, le son... quasi agressif pour les oreilles. Ça frise dans tous les sens. Et après maintes tentatives de "défrisages" via la tige et le Truss Rod, on se retrouve avec les cordes à 15 bornes du manches : seul moyen d'obtenir un son juste acceptable. C'est métallique, entêtant, et on est en réalité à mille lieues ce fameux son "blues" vintage qui m'est si cher.
Le prix est attractif. Je ne m'attendais donc pas à des miracles. A l'unanimité à la maison aujourd'hui, nous avons tous préféré le son de la guitare classique de mon fils de 5 ans (35 euros!) à cette Recording Blues qui n'a d'attrayant que son aspect esthétique.

Packs a punch.
Smart looking parlour guitar in sunburst finish.
RPS-9-TS having the solid top option provides clear notes from
bass, mid section and treble. Sustain is acceptable for this sized
guitar. Fine for both chords and picking.
Although I feel picking is this guitar's best quality.
Action is great with smooth neck down the fretboard.
Personally, I prefer extra light strings which gives a really
'zingy' sound. A small guitar that certainly packs a punch.

Mauvaise pioche
Bon potentiel pour le prix mais les finitions sont horrible, celle que j'ai reçu avait même un défaut sur un frette sans compté les coulures de verni sur les touches et les frettes mal ajustée qui dépassent en dessous du manche... Certains ont eu plus de chance que moi mais je vais m'orienter vers une autre guitare. Sinon elle est agréable à jouer et le son est plutôt intéressant, dommage...

Bonne guitare de voyage
Je cherchais une guitare pas chère genre parlor ou de voyage pour trimbaler partout. Dans la série Dirty 30's Series 9 de Recording King, on a le cachet Delta blues, ce modèle à l'avantage d'avoir une table en épicéa massif, un peu cheap au niveau fabrication (ça reste une guitare à moins de 200¤) mais très sympa tout de même.
Je suis assez surpris par la qualité du son, très medium pour ce type de guitare, mais le son est vraiment bon je trouve.
Je suis très satisfait par rapport au besoin que j'avais, si vous avez l'occasion d'essayer ça vaut le coup

Absolute junk - Avoid
It was oh so very easy to pay for this guitar. Try sending it back, however, and you may as well forget about it. Better still, don't buy it to begin with. From the moment I took delivery it has been buzzing up and down the neck. I queried this and was told I need to make a video of my playing it so Thomanns "experts" can view it. I have been playing guitar for 30 years. I'd say that makes me an expert.
When I queried who these so called experts are, and what are their actual job titles, I was quickly sent a return label, which is useless as I don't have a printer. In the small print instructions, it also tells me I need to find some form or other if the parcel is going to the EU. What?!!?
I will not buy a thing from this store again. I don't have £150 to waste, and Thomann clearly have no intention of helping or refunding. I wasn't even going to bother writing this, but I have just tried to change the strings, and three of the pegs have snapped, leaving half in the bridge of the guitar.
I will be sharing quotes from Thomanns communications with me, along with photographs of this awful piece of junk, Chinese made guitar, across all of my social media channels. As a music journalist, I will do my utmost to make sure that as many people as possible know about this debacle and my experience of Thomann.
