FEATURES?
Noise gate is nice - works perfect. I'm still using additional pedal version thou (with my noisy gain pedals).
Reverb? It's working. I have two reverb effects so I'm not using it. It's just one knob (level) so no total control over it.
Dust cover is a nice addition.
PEDAL EFFECTS? (od/dist/fuzz)
Purple channel: EQ + overdrive... is enough. Really (maybe a fuzz for some flavor). But no need for more pedals. With EQ you can razor-shape overall sound and overdrive can get that "little push". Don't get me wrong - amp sounds great on its own, but with a little help it can be a beast. I'm using Amptweaker Tight Drive Pro (in front) and ParaEQ Deluxe (in fx loop). IMO stacking more than two gain pedals to purple channel is a waste because amp distortion is sooo goood.
Green channel: great channel for gain effects which are too much for purple channel. You can get totally different tones here.
Blue channel: just for perfect cleans.
I may be wrong but if you're a gain-stacking-guy (bd2->muff->rat->other effect->amp) this amp may not be for you. You don't buy high gain amp to stack gain pedals in my opinion. Except green channel maybe... but you don't buy G50 for green channel ;-)
BEDROOM?
You can play 10W at home. Everything depends on how loud you can be - but it sounds A LOT better with master volume up. There's a sweet spot which make a huge difference... but it can be too loud for most people (and neighbours).
If you have an attenuator - just play 50W and crank all volumes up. It sounds fantastic.
For silent practice - Two Notes Torpedo is awesome. Easy to use via app, a lot of options (cabs, mics, reverbs, eq) and stereo on headphones sounds great. Inspiring feature.
CONS?
Footswitch. Looks and feel cheap. Decent quality stuff. But it works.
No manual in box, not even a QR with a link to manual. Weird decision. You need to search for it on REVV website. (there's only one card with most important info: how to not damage amp)
My amp came with two loose jack nuts (one completely unscrewed). Nothing big, amp came from the other end of the world (a lot of vibrations in transport I think). But still... I was like "really?"
