The BOSS GT-1000 features 16 amp types and 116 premium effects, including MDP-powered processors from the DD-500, RV-500, and MD-500 units. Two amp models can be combined per patch, while the Stompbox feature lets players assign shared parameters across multiple presets for consistent control. A large, high-contrast display keeps navigation clear, supported by six quick-access knobs, ten backlit footswitches, and a built-in expression pedal with toe switch. Patches can be downloaded straight to the unit via internet, making it easy to explore new effects and expand one's tonal palette at any time.
