Great guitar!
The quality and playability of the guitar is great! A lot of beginners start out with these rather fine guitars and often move on to a ‘real’ instrument later.
I bought this guitar for my father and he had played plenty of great guitars. However, Fender offers within the Classic Vibe lineup guitars that combine budget pricing with excellent period-emulating sound. If you want a old-school Stratocaster, one with a 1960/70s look and feel — Squier CV is your bag.

Squier 70s Black Strat
