I play guitar at least 25 years and i tried and had many many electric guitars, really.
This guitar is an awesome starting point not just for begginers but for advanced player as well,my humble personal opinion. It's always a matter of taste as well of course. But in the end, what really matters having a guitar and playing live or at home or anywhere?
Important is:
1.to stay in tune
2.to feel comfortable playing the guitar
3.that the hardware is set up good
Cause for the rest,we can always change it or upgrade it. But...for this guitar I didn't feel or need to touch or change anything. It simply works without any issue and it sounds great!
A very very versatile guitar and for any kind of music style if you ask me....and I like and play blues,rock,pop,funk,jazz,fusion...even metal.
As we guitarplayers are a neverending story and we are complicated (we want this kind od pickups, this kind of wood, that kind of electronics, that kind of strings, that kind of plectrum, that kind of an amp or pedal....etc etc), tooo many factors that we worry about and we forget to just play and not overthink! I can just say that for this money it is really a great guitar,no doubt.
But as always...matter of taste and what a guitarplayer wants and needs from a single guitar. I am an easy going type and uncomplicated...so, for me this guitar is getting a nice 8/10!
The only "downsides" could eventually be:
1.the few not perfectly finish or treatment of installed hardware but that is easily fixed in 5-10 min with a screwdriver
2. the pickups are maybe not the highest quality ones BUT i could still find and dial really great sounds (both clean and drive) ,both through an amp or a modeller (for studio recording)
