Salvi Hermes Lever Harp 40 Str. NM

I bought this 40-string harp on 5 May as an upgrade from a 27-strings harp. I was very nervous about the purchase as this is my first time dealing with Thomann and was worried about the delivery of the harp from Germany to UK. Customer service at Thomann have been excellent, all my queries were answered within 1 day. The harp arrived on 16 May and the delivery company contacted me one day in advance prior to the actual delivery so I was able to arrange my schedule to be at home to receive the harp. The harp arrived in a perfect condition. I’m very satisfied with the very careful packaging to ensure that the harp was properly protected during transportation. It took over one month for this harp to settle in my house, I’ve been tuning it every day. I really like the amazing rich and full sound of this harp. Even my neighbour next door noticed the differences in the quality and the sound of this harp, she could hear me playing the harp whilst she was in the garden, and she said she really enjoyed listening to it. I’m absolutely in love with this harp and now I can play any pieces of music that I like (unlike my smaller harp, I can only play limited pieces of music).
The quality of the harp is top of the range, I love the smooth and elegant design of my Hermes harp. The harp comes with a 3-year warranty with Salvi, just need to register my harp online with Salvi, pretty straightforward.
I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a bigger lever harp to go with Salvi Hermes via Thomann, Thomann able to sell it at a reasonable price and the price included VAT! Thank you Thomann for the fantastic customer service and an easy and smooth transaction.

Uno puede sentir cierto reparo en encargar un instrumento de este calibre en una tienda online, pero nada más lejos de la realidad.
El envío se realiza en una caja enorme llena de acolchados donde el arpa está súper protegida. A pesar del tamaño de dicha caja, consiguió entrar por la puerta de casa sin problema. El arpa llegó inmaculada y sin un rasguño.
En cuanto al sonido es simplemente espectacular y al disponer de 40 cuerdas consigue llegar a un registro grave que la aleja de ese sonido tan frágil que normalmente se asocia a estos instrumentos. Carácter que si dispone si te vas a las cuerdas más agudas. Es por tanto un instrumento muy versátil.
Lo único que no tuve paciencia para que el instrumento se atemperara y afiné todas las cuerdas a sus notas exactas de sopetón (fallo de principiante). En el proceso se rompieron 3 cuerdas del registro agudo. Al comentarlo con Thomann fueron tan amables de enviarme repuestos de dichas cuerdas sin coste alguno. Estoy gratamente satisfecho con el servicio al cliente.
Es mi primer arpa pero la experiencia no ha podido ser mejor. La recomiendo al 100%.
