Yamaha TAG3 C Sandburst

Yamaha hat mal wieder etwas tolles herausgebracht.
Die Gitarre an sich ist super verarbeitet und lässt sich klasse spielen. Allein das ist schon das Geld wert.
Jetzt kommt noch dazu, dass Effekte eingebaut sind, die ein Gitarrist sich wünscht. Hall Echo Chorus die wie durch Zauberei aus der Gitarre erklingen.
Laut genug, um einen Raum zu füllen. Dazu kommt ein Looper mit dem man viel Spaß hat.
Das Highlight ist, dass die Gitarre Bluetooth hat. Damit kann man seine Backingtracks vom Handy abspielen und dazu musizieren.
Verstärkt klingt sie super. Nur das Bluetooth Signal muss man extra verstärken. Es kommt nicht über den Ausgang der Gitarre. Insgesamt ein schönes Meisterwerk und macht viel Spaß.

La TAG3C, c’est une guitare innovante et imaginative qui nous permet de repousser les limites que sont jouer à la simple guitare acoustique.

Elle réunit le plaisir et le confort de jouer, compte tenu de sa forme agréable et de son corps large, mais également de sa sonorité, surtout ses basses qui ressortent très bien et donnent un caractère plus puissant à la guitare.

It exceeded my expectatuins. The finish of the guitar is very good. It sounds great with electronics switched off. With the effects switched on it is absolutely amazing. Chorus and reverb work fantastic. Delay effect is mediocre. Loopper works very well. The most amazing feature is possibility of streaming guitar backing tracks through TAG 3 (via bluetooth) and playing the guitar with the effects simultaneusly. All of these without conecting to an amplifier. Absolutely stunning!

This is the second Yamaha TransAcoustic guitar in my collection, I also have a Yamaha FSC-TA.
If we compare them, the new TAG3 is definitely better. The overall quality is better, and especially the quality of the neck lacquer is much better. The guitar feels very good in the hands. The sound is very good.
The big advantages are the built-in battery and the looper. The battery lasts a long time.

But the looper can also be considered a disadvantage - there are two ways to start recording on the looper, the first is to press the record button, which is not convenient because the button is on the main control panel, you can't quickly press the button with your right hand and start playing. So there is a second option that starts recording automatically when you start playing. And there's a problem here, because the sensitivity of this threshold is very low, and you have to hit the strings very hard to start recording. If your part starts with a chord, it's not a problem because it will be quite loud, but if the part starts with a single string or a quiet chord (or a pick), it's a problem because the guitar won't start recording at the right moment because it will be too quiet for it.

Overall, I recommend this guitar, but if you're buying it for a looper, I'd advise you to try it first. For myself, I decided that I want to buy a looper pedal separately.
